A brief introduction to UENPS and the
Hungarian Society of Perinatology and Obstetric Anesthesiology
The Union of European Neonatal & Perinatal Societies (UENPS) is an organization integrating the national European societies of neonatal and/or perinatal medicine. UENPS represents countries and governing bodies of each national society. Therefore it is the Society of the European Societies, understood as integration of all societies and not for the single members of the community. Its feeling is to concentrate in a single organization the all European Neonatal and Perinatal Societies.
One of the above-mentioned Societies is the Hungarian Society of Perinatology and Obstetric Anesthesiology, of which the objectives are: helping the activities of its members by creating a professional and scientific platform of national and international relations, facilitating the education of obstetrics, perinatology, neonatology and obstetric anesthesia on national (undergraduate, postgraduate) and international levels, and make a commitment regarding the guidelines of obstetrics, perinatology, neonatology and obstetric anesthesia and anesthetic care.
